Our Founder’s Inspiration

From a young age, I was captivated by the way math and science help us make sense of the world. Being raised by parents whose hard work provided me with opportunities, I carried forward one powerful lesson: USE MY PRIVILEGE FOR PURPOSE. Guided by curiosity and a deep sense of purpose, I found my way to the actuarial profession, a field anchored in systems thinking, risk management and data-driven decision-making, focused on serving the public interest.

Over the past decade, I worked with financial institutions across the Asia Pacific, helping them navigate uncertainty, manage risk, and solve strategic and regulatory challenges. With the escalating climate crisis and the widening gap between awareness and action, I knew it was time to take a different course – one anchored in PURPOSE, RESILIENCE, & IMPACT.
